About Us
The Blues Lounge is dedicated to bringing you the finest Blues acts around!
Founded by northeast Blues duos the Hokum Hotshots and Lee Bates and Billy Newton, along with Michael 'Fruitlips' Watson, the Blues Lounge has already played host to some great artists such as; Doug Macleod and Steve James from the USA and british blues legend Simon Prager as well as performances from the Hotshots, Lee and Billy and the Last Gasp Spasm Band, the UK's premier Jug Band.
Having now decided to make these irregular, one off nights into something more regular, the Blues Lounge will be bringing you great music on the first friday of every month from October 2009.
